The Gynecological Clinic is part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen's specialized outpatient care and belongs to the Women's Area. We have up to 9,000 visits per year and are here for all residents of the county. Our mission includes, among other things, acute gynecology, infertility investigations, contact midwives for oncology, cell samples, abortion care, and minor surgeries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you have the opportunity to participate in teamwork around the patient as well as have your own counseling and reception.

The position is both administrative and clinical, primarily involving being the contact nurse for gynecological cancer.

This means digital and physical contact with oncology patients, responsibility for booking and planning cancer care, ordering medications, developing cancer care, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds. The contact team consists of 3 midwives/nurses in total and works across professions.

Being a contact nurse involves a lot of education and development.

For the right person who wishes for a broader role and works more than 75%, we can offer development within the interdisciplinary specialist team for endometriosis, vulvodynia, and the dysplasia team. This means supporting the responsible midwife with coordinating care, contact, and support for patients digitally and physically, as well as having your own reception. The teams consist of therapists, doctors, physiotherapists, medical secretaries, and midwives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in gynecological care.

We highly value personal qualities and teamwork as well as interdisciplinary collaboration skills. You need good technical skills and the ability to learn digital tools.

OTHER

The position is primarily daytime, Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30, with the option to work part-time or full-time. We are open to applications for 60-100% that can start within 4 months.
